  5. The Ed Silva-White Award for the trumpet player who enjoys magic, wants to become a teacher and aspires to climb Mt. Everest one day.
  6. The Jim Pattison Award for the trumpet player who is always on his I phone wheeling and dealing.
  7. The Carson Manzer Award for the trumpet player who wants to become a career journalist and travel the world.
  8. The Bill Inman Award for the trumpet player who becomes an accountant and wants to work in the resort industry.
  9. The Ray Smith Award for the trumpet player who wants to become a CEO of a big industrial company but has to give up his trumpet because his first love is music, he doesn’t want to be a poor musician.

These awards are for eligible students enrolled in a high school band program in B.C. Find your instrument, then choose an award you think best describes your goals and that you think you can win. Ask your band teacher if he will nominate you for the award. He will contact us.
